Kiwidinok Music is the creative work of Michelle — lyricist, songwriter, storyteller, visual artist, independent music creator and photographer, whose country music blends storytelling, indigenous heritage and personal experiences.
Michelle writes with a focus on authenticity creating songs that carry weight, feel honest, human, and deeply felt.
Her songs are described as “chapters” in her life’s story, with photography, family history, and ancestral imagery woven into her lyrics. Her music blends country storytelling with Indigenous heritage.
Creating under Kiwidinok Music, she continues to follow the same spirited energy that defined her from childhood. The Ojibwe name, Kiwidinok, meaning Woman of the Wind reflects that untamed nature — a namesake that now guides her songwriting and the creative path she walks.
For Michelle — aka "Kwe" — songwriting isn't simply about creating music — it's about preserving memories, honoring heritage, and leaving behind chapters of life that others may one day recognize as pieces of their own story.
